Nancy was most recently President at Hunt Alternatives, a family foundation that has dedicated more than $130 million since 1981 to advance social change nationally and globally. She led the foundation’s 100 staff and three major programs — Inclusive Security, Demand Abolition, and Prime Movers — to achieve the impossible. Nancy then led a major change effort, shifting the priority from running programs to policy-change initiatives, reducing the staff to a team of eight, and relocating its primary base from Cambridge, MA to Washington DC.

As a Senior Executive of City Year, an innovative national youth service program, Nancy served in several key roles over two decades, growing the organization from one site in Boston to 26 cities across the United States; expanding the staff and corps member volunteers from 400 to nearly 4,000; and increasing the budget from $45M to $145M. As Chief People Officer and Senior Vice President, leading workforce planning and change management, and as Vice President of National Operations, overseeing a network of sites around the country, Nancy evolved the organization’s culture to drive large-scale impact. In addition, she coached senior leadership, built a talented and diverse staff, and forged multi-faceted partnerships.

As Co-founder and President of Recruitment Solutions, Inc., a recruitment consulting firm, Nancy was responsible for all aspects of business development including start-up capital acquisition, board development, client development and management, and sales. Fortune 500 clients included Iron Mountain, Gillette, and Fidelity Investments. Recruitment Solutions was sold to Monster.com.

Nancy was Vice President of Human Resources at The Boston Company, an international financial services company with deposits of $6B and trust/custody assets > $300B, operating in 12 US locations, with 4,200 employees. Managing a team of 30 on all aspects of human resources, she successfully led the organization through nine mergers and acquisitions during her 13-year tenure.

Nancy holds a Master’s in Education, with a concentration in Business Management from Cambridge College and a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Sociology from Fairleigh Dickenson University
